Health Champion program is all inclusive and extremely unique when it comes to the whole person approach. CREATION Health stands for Choice, Rest, Environment, Activity, Trust, Interpersonal Relationships, Outlook and Nutrition, which encompasses mind, body, and spirit. As a Health Champion, you don’t have to be a certain age or fitness level. All our Health Champions are on their own health journey and are able to encourage others along the way. The knowledge base of whole person health, and how to care for mind, body and spirit is taught through a fundamental course. Health Champions are given the freedom to create and promote programs that connect with their teams and those needs. They are given support and resources to create successful engagement with CREATION Health. We focus a lot of our efforts internally on bringing our Health Champions together to share “What’s Working” and best practices. We’ve also been able to fund several grant projects. These projects are led by Health Champions and help create a stronger culture of health. The Health Champion grant project has made our program truly special in that it allows our champions to take on more leadership roles within their department. We also have a successful program that takes departments throughout our system to work one-on-one with our team to achieve specific department wellness goals. These unique program aspects have helped to elevate our growing program of Health Champions.
