Nearly everyone today is impacted by stress in a significant way. Health professionals and even the general population are aware of the negative impact that stress can have on health, sense of well-being, relationships, and performance. Most efforts in managing stress have been focused on relaxation methods, nutrition and exercise interventions, work-life balance programs, and offering employee assistance programs and resources. More recently there has been an increased demand for resiliency training across a variety of organizations. They realize that high demand and pressure is difficult to prevent and that current stress management programs are not sufficient in today’s world. This program will provide science-based content in the area of personal resilience that is being implemented in organizations facing a crisis resulting in high turnover rates and decreasing morale due to stress. The content focuses on practical tools that participants can use to leverage positive stress, reduce impacts of negative stress, reduce triggers to stress, and increase mental and emotional resiliency. The content is engaging and practical and not bogged down with terminology and lecture, which is appealing to organizations and participants. The resilience program does not have to be delivered by an expert and leverages a Train-the-Trainer model for scaled rollouts within organizations. This makes the material easy to grasp, teach, and implement in any organization and has even been modified for use in children and teenagers.
