Each morning and evening of the core conference, we will present Activity Sessions to provide attendees with an overall wellness experience while at the conference.


Evening Burn MIIT/HIIT

Medium intensity interval training/High intensity interval training. The masters’ class is geared for experienced participants. The MIIT class caters to a less experienced population or those who are looking for a bit less intensity. Both classes challenge movement patterns to create new neuromuscular pathways by moving in different speeds, in all directions with differing pieces of equipment to keep your brain and your muscles ENGAGED!

Fit Boot Camp

FIT Boot Camp is a 50 minute full-body workout that utilizes safe and effective movements in a format that encompasses high intensity interval training, bodyweight exercises, plyometrics, circuits and core strengthening. This activity session will be sure to keep attendees moving and having fun for the full session, and they’ll be able to attend their conference sessions fueled and energized from a great workout!

Fitness Yoga

Designed to strengthen the entire body and improve your physical health and mental
well-being, this class will focus on combining movement and breath. Fitness Yoga is appropriate for all individuals of all fitness and yoga levels. Bring a towel with you to class.

Functional Training – Pain-Free Movement for Life!

Functional movement activities include a wide array of 1) simple functional fitness assessments (posture and movement assessments), 2) exploration exercises to better understand muscle balance and functional movement, and 3) corrective exercises designed to improve functional fitness. Participants will be instructed on how to perform each assessment or training strategy and then be given the opportunity to experience and complete each activity (with instructor input and supervision).

Practical Relaxation Skills

This session will walk through practical strategies to reduce stress including visualization, deep breathing, mini-meditations, Cognitive restructuring, progressive muscle relaxation, and self massage. These activities will taught in such a way that the participants can re-teach to their constituents. Bring a towel with you to class.

The session will begin with a 5 minute warm up, followed by a 30-40 minute run, and ending a 10 minute yoga session geared towards athletes. Running – no equipment needed, no addition space needed as all activities will occur outdoors.

Water Exercise

Cross train while you stay cool, have fun and go easy on the joints. Experience water yoga, tai chi, dance and martial arts. Use water dynamics to focus on body mechanics, aerobic conditioning, muscle resistance, and release of tight muscles. A great tension reliever

Yoga Flow for Energy & Balance

Join us for a rejuvenating yoga session that will energize you for the day and bring a sense of mindfulness into your conference experience. This is an intermediate-level practice, with alternatives offered for those who are just beginning their yoga journey or who need modifications.

Zumba! Zumba Fitness is a Latin-inspired cardio-dance workout that uses music and choreographed steps to form a fitness party atmosphere. While many of the types of dance and music featured in the program are Latin American inspired, our classes also contain everything from jazz to African beats to country to hip-hop and pop.
