Yoga Nidra – Guided Meditation for Relaxation & Rejuvenation
Yoga Nidra is a rejuvenating guided meditation, done while lying in savanasa (supine and comfortable – no movement involved), that leads to a deep state of relaxation and promotes self-awareness. Yoga Nidra has been shown to calm the mind, enhance ability to focus, improve sleep, and a host of other quality of life indicators. This session will share additional benefits of the practice and lead you through a peaceful nidra session including breath awareness, visualization, and a body scan to relieve tension and promote a sense of well-being.

I Am Found in Nature
Using the outdoor environment to re-connect with nature, participants will find/identify with something found in the natural environment they feel best represents them. I will ask them to take a few minutes to study it (practicing mindfulness) and then share with others in the group why they feel it represents them in this season of life. If it is small enough, it will be an artifact/souvenir they can take home to remind them of their connection to the natural world at those times when stress begins to take over, or they feel far removed from the healing properties of nature.
