What Works Best In Health Promotion?

The field of health promotion is entering its fourth decade of existence.  Programs are established in business, community, clinical, commercial fitness center and school settings.  Positive health outcomes are consistently achieved.  Cost reduction is common.  Nevertheless, the field has still not reached consensus on the most effective methods. Proposals are welcome that describe systematic reviews, benchmarking studies, expert panel findings, and consensus statements on the most effective methods to enhance and retain participation, achieve and maintain weight loss, quit smoking, enhance fitness, improve nutrition, enhance productivity, contain medical cost increases, apply incentives and achieve other critical outcomes in health promotion.
